Our goal is to build 40 BEDS... the communities we serve NEED them! We are looking for 30 volunteers for our next community bed build on Saturday, June 10th from 8am - 3:00pm! The community bed build will be held in the parking lot of the UCC church in Edgerton (114 N Henry St, Edgerton, WI). If you're interested in helping, please follow the quick two-step process below! The cast and crew of The Lion King Jr. have been working hard these past few months. Please join us on Wednesday, May 24th at 6:00 pm for our performance. Community - This week in STEM, we were reviewing simple machines, compound machines , and energy. The students were challenged to build a catapult out with only a few supplies.

Today, some 5th graders got to go down to the new Brown Paws Pet Rescue. They got a tour by the Founder Becky Brown and her dog Lily. They learned about the rescue and all the work they do.

Butterfly release day in Mrs. Heller’s kindergarten class

Thank you to all of our wonderful Yahara KIDS for making our school such an amazing place this year. Today was our last luncheon for the year and kids were picked to join who were being KIND, INCLUSIVE, DEPENDABLE, and SAFE throughout the month of April. We Can’t Wait for Next Year!

In the month of April we worked on skills around teamwork. These students were celebrated at our assembly, as they were our teamwork student of the month winners. Please help us in celebrating these students! Congratulations to all who were nominated.

Menu change for lunch today! Due to product not coming in on my delivery truck yesterday, I am forced to make a menu change for everyone today. Changes to Work Permits! You can now obtain a work permit online - https://dwd.wisconsin.gov/er/laborstandards/workpermit/ The application is live now. A parent can access the site using the link above. Payment is made directly to the department through the application, using a credit or debit card or by ACH direct withdrawal. Once the permit application process is complete, the Department mails a paper copy of the permit directly to the employer. The old system will continue to be operational until June 30, 2023, when we will be discontinuing it.
